Code is a tool. Not an end goal.
Bekasen is a one-person Haitian digital agency for ambitious businesses who don't have the time or budget to get stuck with a big shop.
No PowerPoint decks that float over your problem. No junior learning your industry in a meeting. No agency billing you for every comma. Just shipped code, fast-loading sites, tools you can manage yourself, and a phone that gets answered.
The story
Why Bekasen?
I've watched too many Haitian businesses pay top dollar for a website they can't even edit themselves. Too many agencies delivering a 50-page PDF instead of a product that actually works.
Bekasen flips that. You get the source code. You can update content without paying me. You can add a new product to your catalog from your phone. You call me only when you want to genuinely evolve the thing.
And yes, I'm alone. That's not a flaw, that's the model. No project manager, no salesperson, no delays because the actual coder is unavailable. You talk to the person who ships. That's it.

Questions I get a lot
Why do you work alone?
It lets me keep prices low, timelines short, and quality high. Adding someone would mean charging 2× more, managing more chaos, shipping slower. As long as it works, might as well stay efficient.
What if you get sick or overbooked?
I cap my capacity at 3-4 projects per quarter. I'd rather say no to a project than ship late. Code is documented, repo is yours, and I have a network of Haitian devs I can refer you to if needed.
Do you do design too?
Yes. Figma + Tailwind is my daily. I do design that serves the business, not design that wins awards. If you already have a brand or a designer, I can work with them.
Source code really mine?
Yes. Private GitHub repo you own. You can give it to another dev tomorrow if you want. No license, no royalties, no "proprietary platform."
The diaspora promise
100% remote. You don't need to be in Haiti to work with me.

Wadson Joseph
Solo founder · Data analyst · Full-stack dev
Born and based in Haiti. I've been coding since my teens. Last few years I've worked in data analytics and full-stack dev — mostly on Next.js, Postgres, Python stacks. I speak Creole, French, English. I know the context (payments, infra, internet, culture). I work with people who want their business to ship, not with people who want their site to "look fancy."
My goal: build tech that actually works for Haitian businesses. Not something imposed from elsewhere. Not flashy stuff that breaks after a year. Solid.
